Respite Center & Guest Home

For over four decades, The Arc of Caddo-Bossier has offered families of our region a “home away from home” for loved ones with intellectual or developmental disabilities. We offer both in-home and center-based respite care services.

We are there to help families plan for outings or absences and during times of unexpected circumstances. Our Respite Center & Guest Home provides highly specialized care within a warm and welcoming residential environment for infants, children, youth and adults with intellectual or developmental disabilities.

The Arc Caddo-Bossier first opened the Respite Center & Guest Home in 1978, as the first such home in the state of Louisiana. We remain today a model for the state for out-of-home respite care.

This is the only Respite Center in all of Region 7.
