GREAT - Frequently Asked Questions

Q. What is the age limit for participating in the GREAT riding program?

A. Students must be at least 18 months old (Children with Down Syndrome must be at least 3 years old.). Additional requirements: an individual must be able to sit on their own or have had an evaluation at GREAT, and an individual cannot weigh more than 200 pounds.

Q. Are scholarships available for GREAT?

A. We seldom offer scholarships due to lack of funds. We would like to be able to offer scholarships to families in need of assistance in the future.

Q. How much do riding lessons cost?

A. GREAT has a variety of riding programs. The cost for a twelve week session is $360.
