The Arc Caddo-Bossier Foundation Society
The Arc Foundation Society is a group of people who
realize the value of The Arc's programs in our community
and have given a gift of $1,000 or more annually
to The Arc Caddo-Bossier Foundation.

Each year we celebrate the people, companies,
and organizations that support the work of
The Arc Caddo-Bossier Foundation with an
Appreciation Dinner.

The Arc Caddo-Bossier Foundation was established in 1997. It began with a $25,000 donation made by Mr. Jim Elrod, President of Willis-Knighton Health System, to establish the Tommy Turner Endowment Fund. Tommy Turner and his family were long-time friends of Mr. Elrod. Tommy Turner had been a student and client with The Arc since the beginning in 1954. His parents were among the pioneer families responsible for starting The Arc and were very involved in human service activities to promote community involvement and programs for people with developmental disabilities. Today, The Arc Caddo-Bossier Foundation has a volunteer Board of Trustees from the community.
