To assist in preparing/cooking full meals and snacks as required to the Food Program Requirements as well as assist/perform various food service housekeeping duties and paperwork.
Must be 18 years of age or older.
Documentation of three (3) references and known in the community to be of good reputation.
Must be able to read and write on a 10th grade level.
Documentation of satisfactory criminal record check per LA. R.S. 15:5871.
Must provide health records including TB test, and documentation of good health and every 3 years thereafter.
Must be able to lift and carry 20 pounds twenty feet.
Must be able to correctly perform basic arithmetic calculations using addition, subtraction, division, and multiplication.
Must have computer skills.

To satisfy all pertinent staff requirements as specified by licensing and funding agencies; the Office for Citizens with Developmental Disabilities; and The Arc of Caddo-Bossier’s Core, Policy & Procedure, and Children’s Services Manuals.
To perform specific duties listed in addition to any related tasks as required by the Administrative Assistant, Director of Goldman School and the Director of Children’s Services.
To demonstrate an attitude of cooperation with and respect for all guests, children, parents, families and co-workers while fulfilling your daily responsibilities.
To respect all children in the program and their family’s right of confidentiality.
To provide clerical support and monitoring of CACFP by developing menus, purchasing of food and keeping menu records and enter information into computer and transmit monthly claim to the state.
To perform all other duties required by CACFP, i.e. maintain files (receipts, inventory, free lunch sheets, etc.), quarterly monitoring of program, fill out and submit annual CACFP application, etc.
Assist in maintaining record of purchase orders, coded orders/receipts and deliver paper work to the business office.
At the end of each month, print a time sheet for the whole month from ProCare for the Food Tech and place the copies in the CACFP monthly file.
To be available upon request to help in any capacity needed: Secretary/Receptionist; classroom and cooking.
To cooperate with other office personnel in providing Division services as directed.
Assist in preparation of meals and snacks according to established menus and Child and Adult Care Food Program requirements.
Assist washing glassware, dishes, pots, pans, and associated kitchen equipment and utensils.
Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of kitchen walls, floors, stoves, refrigerators and similar food service equipment.
Assist in arranging/storing food items and supplies in appropriate areas, i.e., pantry, freezers, refrigerators. Have a designated area for each food item and supply item. When a food or supply item is used, return unused item to its designated place.
Assist with serving food and snacks.
Be responsible for maintaining the running of the kitchen in the food technician’s II absence.
